Little Beckham is getting so big! Today his weight was 2200 grams, which is 4 lb 13.6 oz. That means that since Apr 22 he has put on 1 pound! (That's only 10 days)! I think the above pic makes him look extra chunky because his clothes are actually the right size instead of drowning him.
Beckham continues to do well. He was weaned down to just 1/16 L of oxygen and maintained his sats well. Hopefully within the next few days he will be able to come off of oxygen for good. He was more alert and happy today than he has been in a while, so that was refreshing.
He has a hard time keeping his pacifier in his mouth, but recently has figured out that he can hold it there with his hands. He hasn't quite got the coordination to do it very well yet, but he tries.
I know this sounds funny but he is getting so "big!" He is so cute & I love his little wave in the last picture. It is fun to see him in actual outfits too. I hope with how fast he is growing that you will get to take him home really soon.
ReplyDeleteI love that you and I consider the 4 pound weight range as HUGE! I want to kiss his cheeks. I keep imagining this Christmas and how excited I am to see him again. We'll both have babies and I'll get to see him again! I miss you guys terribly.
